The Kennedy Family

Last week I had a wonderful session with the Kennedy family.  We were brought together through a mutual friend and they are just an all around beautiful, sweet family.  Their daughter has one of the prettiest faces I've seen and I had so much fun following her around, watching her explore her surroundings.  I love this age because they're always bursting with innocent curiosity.  Everything they see and do is new and full of excitement.  Being with little ones certainly reminds you to slow down every once in awhile and enjoy the simple things like you're a kid again.

The Pfluger Family

I was lucky enough to be invited by our new friends, the Pflugers, to take some photos of their little bundle of joy.  He was exactly one week old when we took these shots and he is absolutely precious.  Just look at that perfect little face with his beautiful pink, pouty lips.  This was the first time I had ever taken pictures of a newborn and I was so excited (and nervous) for the opportunity.  His mommy and daddy are just about the warmest, sweetest people you could ever want to meet and they made me feel very welcome and at ease.  I wish them all the best in the world as they begin their journey through parenthood.  It's the best ride they'll ever take!
