The Bernards

Sunday morning's session called for something a little different. I've taken quite a few pictures in a park setting but I wanted to go for something a little more urban for my friend, Stacy, and her boys. We had originally talked about heading down to Bricktown but something didn't feel quite right about that. Then on Friday, a fun idea popped into my head and I decided to run with it: Downtown Guthrie. I hadn't been there in years but I knew it would have just what I was looking for to fit this very stylish family. Brick-lined sidewalks, historic buildings with quaint storefronts, and hidden alleys were in ample supply. The endless opportunities had me feeling like a kid in a candy store and I could not have asked for a better family to join me in my adventure. They were amazing! Not only are they simply gorgeous, but they are so. much. fun. I enjoyed every minute of this experience and I can't wait to do Guthrie again. Thank you, Bernard Family and I hope you enjoy!

 Peek-a-boo!

It didn't last long, but we got a few raindrops that were deserving of a little celebration.

The Browns

On Saturday, I headed out to Fink Park with my best friend, Jessica, and her family for the first of two photo shoots I had scheduled for the weekend.  We got there bright and early and were blessed with some truly gorgeous morning light.  The park was completely empty and so peaceful with the sunshine flooding in through the trees.  I absolutely loved it!  Their son, Max, is one of my very favorite kids in the whole world.  His sweet smile lights up my world every time I see him.

This one was Daddy's idea, not mine.  Just sayin'...
